About the Designer

Alicia Marie

I am a gradute  of  Miami International University of Art and Design with a degree in Accessory Design. I have  always had a special interest in fashion. As a young girl, I enjoyed accessorizing my dolls and animals from the trunks of old costume jewelry my great-grandmother left behind. This is where my journey began as an accessory designer.

I then began remaking old outdated styles into new updated designs. This led to my dream of becoming a designer in the fashion world. I have a vision of offering my designs through in-home sales and trunk shows with a goal of one day having my own boutique featuring my designs. The Alicia Marie Collection has been featured at various art shows in Coral Gables, Miami, and Neiman Marcus in Boca Raton. I design purses, belts, and other accessories, but my specialty is one-of-a-kind jewelry. I hope to help people in this economy accessorize with a stunning new piece of jewelry to add to an outfit already in their closet.

Alicia Marie was voted Best Designer in Blount County Readers Choice Awards 2010.

 Alicia Herzbrun, the Designer, was recently selected by Miami International University of Art and Design to be included in the Emerging Fashion Designers 1 book by Sally Congdon – Martin 

Knoxville Fashion Week was a huge success for Alicia Marie.  The jewelry was showcased first at the kick off event at Knoxville Mercedes, then in the Emerging Designer Runway show at Latitude 35 in Market Square and again at NV in the Old City.  The Alicia Marie line was paired with several clothing designers to accessorize the runway models.

Alicia Marie was invited by T. Rains to accessorize his line for the Nashville Fashion Week at  Marathon Music Works.
